Message Board

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

I really like those anonymous message & imageboards, so I’ve installed one to be used as a supplement to this website. You can visit it at the link below. The board requires no registration to post; everything is completely anonymous. I figure you can use it to leave comments/suggestions for wallpaper, or just to shoot the breeze. Have fun!

Edit: I feel I should mention that the board will be mostly unmoderated, (I will moderate it when I have the time) and since the only rule is, “don’t break any laws,” then I suppose I will have to make the board accessible only to those age 18+.

New Wallpaper Gallery

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

I’m currently in the process of setting up a much more user-friendly gallery of all the wallpapers I’ve posted. Stay tuned over the next hour or so; everything should be ready and I’ll post the link!

Edit: Here’s the link to the new Gallery. I’m still adding some of the more recent wallpapers to it right now, but most of them are already there!

I’ll also add a permanent link just under the header up above ↑↑↑.

New Store!

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

No Wai! has partnered with Amazon.com to open the “No Wai! Store!” The great news is: if you have shopped with Amazon.com before, then you’re already registered and ready to shop here at No Wai!

I’ve added a selection of products that I thought would be of interest to those of you who like the wallpapers here at No Wai! The ones I thought would be the most popular were the books and software that you could get which would teach you how to make your own awesome wallpapers!

Here’s some of the products you may be interested in:

I hope you find some of this stuff useful. I’ve used Photoshop CS2 and now CS3 for making all the wallpapers which I’ve posted here at No Wai! I can’t speak highly enough of it, it is the de facto standard for image editing. And as you can see with some of my wallpapers, Photoshop is capable of some great results.

I’ve been using Photoshop for years, yet I’m still far from an expert at it, so if you decide to invest in Photoshop, any of the books I’ve mentioned above, or any of the many other books available in the store, would certainly provide you some guidance as you delve into the power of Photoshop!
